Amazon Best Sellers Rank (ABSR) is a ranking produced by Amazon for all categories of a product. It shows the product's position among the best sellers for the main category to which it belongs and for the subcategory in which it is classified.
Amazon BSR is calculated by taking into account the total orders sold of each product compared to the other products in the same category over a period of time. Thus, the best-selling product in a category will be ranked number 1 in that category, the second best-selling product will be ranked number 2, and so on.
The importance of this indicator is obvious: the higher the Amazon BSR, the lower the chances of a sale, because the product will appear in a lower position. Conversely, the lower the Amazon BSR, the higher the probability of conversion.
