3. Add additional information
After entering the characteristics of the product, the next step is the price. Once added, you must select the type of publication you will choose in Mercado Libre. The options offered are free, classic and premium.
Although there are several differences between each of them, the factors that most differentiate them are the exposure of the publications, the installments offered by Mercado Libre and the duration. The free publication is characterized by having a low exposure of the publications, offering only 6 installments to the client, and having a duration of 60 days. The classic publication has a medium level of exposure, offers, like the free one, 6 installments to the client, and has an unlimited duration. The premium publication has a maximum exposure, allowing it to appear in the first place, offers 12 customer fees and an unlimited duration.
Next, you must select the delivery methods, in this case you can choose to use the shipping platform itself, called Mercado Envíos.
In the next step, you will have to select if you will use Mercado Pago as payment gateway. We recommend you to use it because many customers look for this option, since they can use any credit card and have the security of reimbursement in case they do not receive the product.
Finally, add if you offer any kind of warranty, either as a seller or direct from the factory.
