Ritmo is a platform that offers financing to digital companies that generate consistent sales, in exchange for a small portion of their revenue until the total amount of the capital provided has been paid back.

Ritmo was born with the aim of supporting entrepreneurs so that they can scale their business quickly in a fast and fair way that doesn’t dilute their ownership, offering investment for their digital marketing campaigns through a revenue share agreement.

Ritmo offers you financing of between 50,000 and 3 million Euros for your online marketing campaigns, that you will pay back over the following few months by paying a small percentage of your income.

Ritmo charges a flat fee of 6% of the capital provided, which is paid back (along with the capital) through repayments of between 2% and 20% of monthly revenue coming from sales until the total of the capital given has been completely paid back.

The percentage of sales revenue destined for monthly repayment will depend on how much you are invoicing, the amount requested and the agreed repayment period.

It is important to note that there is no interest rate. Our clients know exactly how much they are going to pay from the beginning. Transparency is fundamental in our model.

We do not hold equity, we do not require personal guarantees of any kind and there are no hidden fees.

The amount to be financed depends exclusively on the performance of your business.

The same goes for the return period of the financed capital: if your business suffers, the return period is extended.

At Ritmo we offer entrepreneurs an option for obtaining capital in order to grow their business that, unlike venture capital, does not require dilution.

Raising capital to finance digital marketing campaigns is not efficient and is expensive for the entrepreneur.

Unlike venture debt, Ritmo offers a fast, flexible and interest-free form of capital advance.

Ritmo can be a financing channel that is complementary to venture capital, since we can help you improve your metrics and in turn your conditions.

It is also a suitable channel for businesses that are not targeted by venture capital.

Ritmo charges a fixed fee of 6%.

The percentage on sales assigned for repayments will be established by our algorithms, based on the analysis of your business’ performance data.

Apart from the 6% commission, which you will of course know about before signing the contract with Ritmo, there is no other additional charge.

Application process

You can apply for financing for your online marketing campaigns from Ritmo if:

  • You are a registered company in Spain
  • You have had an average monthly income of at least €10K for the last 6 months
  • You have at least 12 months of revenue history with consistent business metrics
  • You have at least 6 months of proven investment in the main performance marketing platforms (Google & Facebook Ads)
  • You process payments through an online checkout

  • Connect your digital marketing accounts
  • Connect your sales accounts, open banking and accounting systems
  • Analysis of your data through our proprietary algorithms and scoring
  • Our offer, with the contractual details regarding the advance
  • Approval from your side
  • Authentication and signing of the contract
  • Direct debit agreement
  • Activation of funds directly on your Ritmo credit card

No, applying to Ritmo does not affect you as the capital provided by Ritmo is not considered banking debt.

Data

The process for receiving a Ritmo advance is very simple and all we need is data relating to the performance of your business.

Once registered on our platform, you simply need to connect your sales accounts (Stripe, Shopify, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, Woocomerce...) and your marketing accounts (Google Analytics, Google Ads and Facebook Ads).

In addition, through your openbanking services and accounting systems you can easily and quickly connect your financial information so we can get to know you better and offer you the best deal for your business.

To give you peace of mind we use the strictest and most advanced criteria for security and confidentiality, ensuring your data is 100% safe.

Before we send you the funds we will also need to verify the identity of the key people in your organization through a photograph and ID card or passport.

You can be 100% confident in the use Ritmo will make of your data.

We are fully aware of how important it is that the information you share with us remains 100% confidential. We will simply use it to analyse the performance of your business and determine the amount of capital and the conditions for repayment.

Before sending you a concrete proposal Ritmo has to validate - in addition to your business performance data - your identity and that of your company, carrying out the necessary authentication and security protocols.

Accessing the funds

Once the capital to be financed has been approved you can access it in two ways, depending on the payment method you have agreed with Google Ads and/or Facebook Ads.

  • Prepaid mode: if you opt for the prepaid mode you can use a Ritmo credit card linked to your advertising accounts, where the capital will be deposited for you to use as you see fit.
  • Credit mode: if you choose the credit mode, upon reception of invoices from the various platforms that you use you will be able to upload them to our portal and Ritmo will take care of the payment. If the capital advanced by Ritmo is higher than the invoice amount, Ritmo will pay the entire invoice. If it is less, you can request a partial payment of the invoice and then you will take care of the remaining amount.

Once the agreement is signed, the funds will be available to you within 24 hours.

Our product is designed to help you grow at all times, and we want to work very closely with you to provide the capital and tools necessary to continue growing, so if you require more capital please contact your account manager.

You can apply for more financing during our collaboration if:

  • You did not choose the maximum amount of capital available to you at the beginning
  • If your company's revenue has grown significantly since the previous advance

Repayment

Ritmo was born with a vocation for flexibility and is designed to adapt to your needs.

We know that your income can vary from month to month, so our collections and repayments will be 100% aligned with your sales.

When we sign the contract, we will define and agree on a percentage of your sales, which you will then share with us until the investment given and the provisioning fee have been settled. There is no fixed date for each payment, as our aim is for your business to grow and for us to grow with you. This repayment percentage is decided when the terms are negotiated together.

The percentage on your sales ranges from 2% to 20% of future income, always guaranteeing that you can maintain a healthy cash flow for your daily operations.

Ritmo's commitment is to work hand in hand with our clients to determine the best option for all parties.

Collection will be done automatically through a direct debit agreement between your bank account and ours, or through an agreement with your payment gateway, so you won't need to worry about making a deposit or transfer every day.

You will have real-time information on our platform about the status of the advance and repayment.

Paying back the advance will begin on the date that was agreed when signing the contract.

This date usually coincides with the day you receive the advance on your Ritmo credit card.

The refund percentage is between 2% and 20% of your sales. This will depend on the situation of your business.

Our algorithms, based on the analysis of your business performance data, will determine the optimal refund rate for all parties.

Once the refund factor indicated in the contract has been defined and agreed upon, this percentage will remain stable until the advance and service charges have been fully refunded.

In the event that a contract is renewed, the % may change, since for each renewal or new contract we undertake a completely new reading and analysis of your KPIs.
